The following are the statements that I have said on my Facebook Page, or in other venues during my campaign. Individuals - I spent six years in university to become a counsellor and have spent the past five years as one. I have learned the importance of the individual in the system. I want you to know that I want to understand your specific concerns and resolutions. I want to listen and work together. Reconciliation - I believe the City of Kimberley can do more to recognize the traditional territory. Whether this is through acknowledgements on the cities website, or Ktunaxa language at city hall, we can do more to reconcile. I plan to work with the Ktunaxa Nation, the Aqam Band, and the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation. Daycare - It's hard to find a daycare spot.
